Web 2:0 Yahoo! Voice - Internet Phone Calls (Skype’s Killer?)
Yahoo! Voice - Internet Phone Calls and Numbers:
- Phone Out: For pc-to-phone calling 2¢ or less per minute, call anywhere in the U.S.
- Phone In: For phone-to-pc, it’s about $29/year (a little cheaper than Skype)
If you haven’t tried Skype or other VoIP call, this may be a good way to start, especially if you have a Yahoo Mail or Yahoo Messenger account. Yahoo Voice is integrated with both. If someone leaves you a voicemail, it will show up in your Yahoo Mail as well. Even if you don’t have Yahoo Messenger, you can use this via the web interface as well. Phone In let you pick a number from various cities (you can choose from what available or even try to search to see if certain combination is available).
