Tool: Paypal goes Mobile
Now you can pay via your mobile phone. This is a similar service to Textpayme. Use it for paying your share of dinner, movie, collecting fees, send money to family, etc. This is great when you don’t have any cash with you.
Basically you first have to register your cell phone with your existing Paypal account. Provided a password. Paypal will call you to verify and activate the set up.
Once activated, you can send payment in two ways:
1. From your cell phone, text a message to PAYPAL (729725) with messages like:
send 10.50 to 9083215678
s 10.50 t 9083215678 note thx for the movie
s 15 t name@domain.com
Paypal will call you asking for the password and to verify that you have authorized a payment. Security Key: Paypal will say your name when it contact you (phone or email). Paypal will never call you unless you have initiated a payment.
or
2. Call at 1-800-4PAYPAL (1-800-472-9725) and send a payment that way.
