Tech: Remote Windows PC Support
Ever tried to help a friend or family troubleshoot PC problems via the phone? Next time, use www.crossloop.com to supplement. It’s a free PC program that will allow you to see and control the remote PC securely and easily.
Instruction
1. Download a copy of Crossloop (small app) on your local PC (via www.crossloop.com). Then run Crossloop and click the “Join” tab.
2. Directed your friend to www.crossloop.com site and download the application and run Crossloop.
3. Your friend should select the “Host” Tab, Crossloop will assign a 12-digit security code to their PC. Click “Connect”.
4. Enter that code on your local Crossloop under “Join”, click Connect ,
5. Your friend will be ask to approve the connection.
Once your friend gave you approval to access their PC, you are on. Crossloop is secure as it uses 128-bit encryption link.
Crossloop doesn’t allow you to transfer a file, so use Gmail to do it
1. Send email to yourself on Gmail),
2. Open and log into Gmail on the remote PC then download that file.
